Maxthon and Polaroid’s New Kids Tablet: Safe Browsing

Kudos to Gizmag for this review about Polaroid’s new Kids Tablet. Running on Android 4.0 and packing 8 GB of storage, a 1GHz chip and 512MB of RAM, the round-cornered 7” tablet has a 800 x 480-pixel multi-touch display and comes with built-in parental controls and a safe web browser developed by Maxthon. As the review further states:

Kids Tablet comes preloaded with a list of Dr Seuss and Smithsonian children’s books, as well as NOOK for Android from Barnes and Noble. When reading interactive books, there are three function options available, including “Read to me,” “Read it myself” and “Auto-play.”

There are 35 pre-loaded apps in all including Music Studio and Draw. There’s also a Kids Video app that pulls videos off of YouTube based on the age of the users.

As always, Maxthon seeks to give users the best browsing experience. Enjoy!
